I take pictures of "ordinary" things because I believe that ordinary is extraordinary unappreciated.

In 1978 Cat enrolled in the photography department at San Francisco State University where she had the opportunity to study directly with Fran Ortiz, Greg Robinson, Jack Welpott, and Catherine Wagner. Post-college, Cat married her college sweetheart, got a job as a bookkeeper, and continued working as an accountant for the next thirty-two years. After moving to San Diego in 1994, she began working for non-profit organizations. Cat moved to Asheville NC in August 2015, and is exploring how this magical place will inpact her her phtography.
